Day 11 : Trust That The Universe Will Give You What You Need
After Christmas, I took a short break from countryside life to spend 4 days in Ubud. As internet connection in Tabanan had been bad, halfway through the car ride, I was still trying frantically to find an accommodation. I aborted the effort when I started to feel the motion sickness. Out of desperation, I asked Putu the driver if he could help me with my accommodation search. I told him my preference and budget, then left it to fate as he called up his contacts for recommendations.
We arrived in a Bed and Breakfast nestled in a quiet stretch just off the main shopping belt. The hotel staff invited us to check out the place before making our decision. The moment we saw the lush greenery within the compound and the beautiful swimming pool at the end, we knew we got ourselves a deal.
And the bonus? We got the room we were eyeing right from the start. At the corner, right next to the pool.
Trust that the Universe will always give us what we need.
