Day 2 : The Right People Will Always Appear

Thursdays are workshop days and the folks in school always make the back-breaking hour-long bike ride from Tabanan to Ubud, despite not knowing if there would be any participants or not. On this occasion, my skepticism rose when I saw the empty pavilion five minutes prior to the start. Nobody will turn up and it will be a waste of all our time and effort, I thought.

The folks in school just shrugged when I voiced my concern. “Just go with the flow.”

Ten minutes later, a lady sauntered in and took her seat. Another one came. Then another one. And another. Pretty soon, the pavilion was filled. Just like that. And we started our workshop, slightly behind schedule, but with the people who wanted to be there and are meant to be there.

Trust that the right people will always appear when they need to.
