Day 24 : Laugh And The Whole World Laughs With You
On our way back to school after the ashram and all of us were dead beat in the car. It had been a long day and our energy levels were right down there. Nobody would have blamed us if we had kept quiet throughout the journey, but no, not when you have a full moon and three women in the same car. From nowhere, we started to chat about random stuff (yeah, can’t go wrong with politics, religion, and sex!) and before we knew what hit us, we were chortling non-stop at every wisecrack made.
For a moment, I looked at Vanessa and Teresa, with tears welling at the sides of their eyes as they bent over in laughter, and I thought none of us were tired anymore.
The fatigue we had felt earlier had dissipated into the cold night air, replaced by a radiant, nourishing energy that embraced and honored all of us for who we were in that present moment.
Laughter is contagious. Laughter is healing. Laugh and the whole world laughs with you.
