Day 4 : Surrender And Let Nature Take Its Course

Walking home from school takes a mere eight minutes, but it feels longer if you are walking home alone at night in pitch darkness.

Lucky for me, I found a bicycle in school and took to riding it home every evening. The whole journey took all of twenty seconds, tops—I would peddle a few rounds and then just sit back and let the natural momentum of the downward slope carry me all the way through the village and home. The noisy neighborhood dogs didn't even have time to register my presence, let alone bark at me, and all I experienced was the gentle caress of the cool night breeze against my cheeks.

Sometimes when things seemed to go downhill and all you see is pitch darkness, it’s easier to surrender and just let nature take its course. You might reach your destination a lot faster!
